Carried a pair of these scissors hiking on an island in Greece .. The sheath is so easy to use and allows you to keep it in your pants pockets with no fear of damaging self or garment.
Cutting back blackberry bushes across the trails was a breeze and comparable to reasonable quality secateurs . The scissors along with the nut cracking feature worked a treat on tree picked walnuts . The wire cutting notch cuts standard barb wire as long as you cut the 2 wires of the twist separately. I managed to save 2 goats that were trapped between a stone wall and a new fence by cutting the barb wire near two posts and then lifting up the chain link wire as as not to destroy the fence . Truly amazing bit of kit to carry and I feel these scissors are much more useful than a Swiss knife muti tool for bush walkers .
